Especially Kyrian, since he has already beaten Gaubas here last year and in another meeting before that, both times rather easily. As Marcos mentioned in his review for Gaubas vs Lajovic, the Lithuanian has a serve that is quite vulnerable; he is not winning enough points on his first serve. While Jacquet did have a few dips against Skatov in qualifying, he was good when it mattered, and his first serve was pretty much untouchable throughout the entire match. Jacquet's is not the most reliable player physically, but he was fortunate not to spend too much time on the court in qualifying, especially since he was coming from the semifinals in a Challenger a few days prior. Gaubas has not been able to really threaten Jacquet in their last two meetings. What can he do differently now? Well, he came through in a tough five-set qualifying round against Lajovic, so he can perhaps play with some more freedom, with nothing to lose. Also, it's a BO5 now, and he has the chance to extend the match and make it scrappy. However, it's worth mentioning that Gaubas had two MTOs against Lajovic in his last match, for unknown reasons. Neither player has yet won a match in the main draw of a Grand Slam, so it wouldn't be shocking to see some nerves coming into play at the end of sets/the match, trying to close...
