Two past meetings between the two men, and a deciding set each time!

Alright, let’s keep it brief: Giron is a pain to deal with on grass, but right now he’s losing a lot of matches at the finish line and coming in without huge confidence. On Moutet’s side, it’s a bit the same. He’s been playing a few good matches lately, you can feel his wrist is bothering him less and his backhand is better. But it’s still a bit labored. He gave absolutely everything against Foki at Queen’s. Everything. But the Spaniard’s power was just too much.

Against Giron, this absolutely reeks of momentum swings. Like: sometimes Giron’s powerful, aggressive tennis is going to hit the mark. Other times, the tireless Moutet’s defense is going to knock the American off his game. And to be honest, I have absolutely no idea who has the better chance of winning here.
