Tarvet, a very confident guy

Will he be able to live up to the "hype"...?

Tarvet got to play his last qualifying round on court 1 with a somewhat big crowd, and he seemed to be fully enjoying it. He was very vocal throughout the entire match, with many "let's go", even if it was from a bad unforced error from the opponent ;) I remember last year he even said that he believed he had a chance against Alcaraz! He is comfortable playing on grass and understands it well, which is no surprise considering he's a Brit! It was a nice qualifying run from him, not dropping a set, but I think it's worth keeping in mind that he has not really beaten a lot of good opponents yet! He is doing a good job at managing matches where he should win. Rinderknech's form has dropped from the crazy peak level he had last year, and he is struggling to string wins together. So yes, he is not at his best right now, but he has also been losing with small margins in tight matches. Arthur will most likely have some dips for Tarvet to take advantage of, due to his form, whereas Tarvet is still inexperienced, especially so in long Grand Slam matches. Tarvet could struggle with Rinderknech's serve quality based on what he showed on return against the Sakellaridis serve. Although I have to say I found him quite efficient in his own service games. I wouldn't be surprised if we get an enjoyable match with some twists and turns...
