Is this where the road ends for Manna?

Yeah, it's a bit of a shame to play a guy who makes him suffer that much when we're only in the second round...

Indeed, a very tough match-up coming for Manna. He can’t get around De Minaur, can’t wear him down, and he’s getting properly bullied by an Australian who finds himself at the net in three nanoseconds. It’s really the worst scenario for Manna. They played again this year, in Hertogenbosch. And that was still early in the grass season. ADM wasn’t (and still isn’t) very confident (he would then lose to Majchrzak on a double fault in the deciding tie-break). And yet, the score was brutal. What difference does Wimbledon and its best-of-five format make?

Manna will have a few more opportunities to take a set and bother his opponent a bit. But he can’t change his game. He doesn’t even know yet that he’s playing ADM… But pushing him, attacking him even more, hitting with more power. I don’t see any other solutions. Because if he lets the Australian dominate the court, it’s over...
