Is the Serbian "rolling back the years"?

A tough opening round against Wu, who was able to really push Novak. However, his second-round match against Tsitsipas was fully controlled. Did Djokovic just improve a lot, or was it perhaps mainly the matchup that mattered? We see Djokovic struggle against good young ballstrikers who move well and play with a lot of intensity; it's a bit overwhelming (a lot of the "new-gen" players play like this). Tsitsipas doesn't really play like that, and with his weak return and backhand, Djokovic can target and exploit it over and over. Rinderknech will not be able to play Djokovic the same way Wu did, but he has his strengths! Obviously, his serving, forehand, and net skills come to mind. While his backhand is not outstanding, I find it quite solid, much more so than Tsitsipas's backhand. I also think that Arthur has been playing quite well in big matches for a while now, at least keeping it competitive. His first two rounds have been solid; he's been very comfortable behind his serve... but it has to be pointed out that he has faced two poor returners in Tarvet and Damm. Now, facing one of the best returners, will he be able to get enough free points on serve quickly without having to battle too much from the baseline?
