Is it time to really be put to the test?

Both players made it to the fourth round quite easily...

In Lehecka's three matches here so far, the theme has been the same... he stays solid on serve, often getting short returns to put away with a +1 forehand or at the net. There have been a few times in each match when he has gone 0-30 on his service games but managed to get it to 40-30 with some big serves and well-played points; you can feel he is in a "good flow" this week. Grass is a rather nice surface for him, since it's not too slow and also rewards players who can play at the net! Zverev is playing with great confidence at the moment, as expected after getting his first Grand Slam. For a while now, he has been getting better at coming forward and playing aggressively, not just being solid from the baseline. This is something you can especially see against players he dominates; it's much easier for him to incorporate this into his game when there is not a lot of stress and pressure. Since it's not a natural part of his game, it can still show up a bit shaky in the bigger matches against players who have this ability naturally!

This is a rather tough matchup for Lehecka. Zverev's serving is just so good, especially since he averages 70%+ first serves made. Even if Zverev struggles more on return on grass, it's just so hard to get into his service games! And yeah, even if it goes to a tiebreak, it's just hard with how consistently he makes first serves. Still, grass increases Lehecka's chances at least - it's clearly where Zverev is more vulnerable! He has not even reached a quarter-final in Wimbledon ;) We saw how much he struggled against a Big Server with a good net game last year when he got eliminated by Rinderknech. However, we need to admit that it was also way different then, especially the confidence and ability to play more aggressively. Lehecka tends to struggle against the elite players; he usually lacks "that little extra" to be able to actually win. Will he be able to serve well enough and not get stuck in too many long baseline rallies? Also, it will be played late on the seemingly slower Center Court, possibly with the roof closing as well at some point.
