Sure, he’s not the most mobile. But it’s like in football: he’s the one making the ball run! Now he’s into the third round of a Masters 1000 as well, with nothing to lose...

And of course, the question arises when it comes to the match-up! Once again, we saw how much Borges likes to dictate play. But against powerful and aggressive profiles like Hanfmann, it’s not the same story. This season, losses to Quinn, Auger, Cilic, Rublev, Jodar, Medjedovic, Zhang... I tell myself the Portuguese has improved in these head-to-heads, but it’s still his sword of Damocles. And I don’t want to underestimate Yannick once again.
