Eighth win in a row for Quentin, who’s playing with confidence and is poking his nose up to 47th in the world (career-high ranking: 46). Downside: this will be his 4th match in 5 days in these humid conditions for him...

On the other side, ADM acted up again in his last match. He literally collapsed after being up a set and 2 breaks, I think, against Norrie. A mental meltdown, which once again shows he’s not fully recovered. Recovered from what? From having given everything to go deep in a Grand Slam, high in the rankings... the guy was so close and at the same time so far because of the limits of his game. And last year during Roland Garros, he had an existential crisis with a schedule that was way too packed. And my guess is that he still hasn’t recovered from that. And then there’s the off-court stuff this summer as well.

Anyway, we’re wondering how and when he’s going to wake up. Against a quasi serve-bot who’s confident even if tired, the plan is pretty clear from a betting perspective: if the Australian is still around 1.35, we’re going to look for game overs and other handicaps on Quentin!
