With Mattia Bellucci, it potentially means nothing. There are 3 Challenger matches on top of that. I'm saying this because I feel like I'm missing something. Instinctively, I would have thought Bellucci’s game really bothers the Spaniard because he neutralizes power well, is annoying with his lefty forehand, makes him move a lot and comes to the net.

All the more so since I wasn’t convinced by the Spaniard in Cincinnati (as has been the case for a while now, actually). But in Cincinnati, I still had hope. His first match made me think we were finally going to see Landaluce get back into rhythm. But nope! He tightens up at certain moments, and I don’t really like how his game has become super aggressive. I preferred it when he was a bit more patient (or at least more strategic).

Whereas Bellucci, who’s only recently been back on court after his injury, almost really impressed me in his match against Mensik. He was having one of those days when he’s happy. And a happy Bellucci is an inspired and dangerous Bellucci!
